Another fun point score was had by all on Sunday 16th September, with little waves coming in all day. Thanks to Mark for the feed and Tommy for the beers at the end of the day.
It was good to hear that all the crew who headed up to Cresent this year for the Old Mal comp scored great waves and from what I’ve heard there was a great vibe at the comp. Our crew came away with a heap of trophies: Bill 1st in O65s; Scott 1st in D fin, a 3rd in O40 greeno; Corey 1st in O40 greeno, and 3rd in open pool board; Lara 1st in ladies; Aidan 1st in U40s greeno and 4th in U40s logs; Glenn 6th in O40s greeno and 2nd in O50s log; and Hursty 1st in O60s! Well done to everyone.
The Banana Classic, a real fun comp, is on the 17th November and entry is on their website for those interested. We also have some Winter Classic shirts for sale at $15, block of wax for $5 or 3 for $10.
On a final note, don’t forget our Preso is on the 24th November at Bellambi surf club, with 2 bands to keep us entertained. There are still tickets left for the hundred club for a chance to win a custom Carabine surfboard.
