Well, we were certainly blessed with small clean mostly consistent quality waves for the club championships, initially it seemed the call to run the day may have been optimistic especially with the mid morning high tide which was my main concern, but it turned out the actual better surf of the day.
A big thank you to Hendo for yet again organising and running the day for us, great effort as always mate, the day ran smooth and pretty much to your timetable despite a little later start than planned for, so thank you very much indeed Craig.
Thank you to all who contributed during the day in various roles, our designated talliers were, Dave Wolfe & Rob Armstrong, they were helped out by Nathan, Baz ,Lachlan & Andrew Wilson who helped without being asked to do so, great effort guys thank you. Andrew Farrow brought the gear trailer along as always, with Dale taking care of the catering duties for us on the day, with Brian Bull & Ian Olney cooking the barby for us.
The format of the day required some extra judging duties, so thank you to all who assisted with the judging during the day. It was mentioned at the start of the day that Cameron had stepped down as our catering officer and was unable to carry on until our AGM in June, so thank you Cameron for the great job you did for the club in that role, we hope to see you back soon, it was great to see two people volunteer to do that role until then, young Nathan Hennessey and one of our very new members Mark Gordon, thank you very much to both of you for stepping up and wanting to contribute, that is greatly appreciated by us all.

WE are fast approaching the Winter Classic and Presso night not too far away, I need people to make trophys for us please, about 70 in total, I will do at least a dozen, so if we can get plenty of guys to do 6 each we will soon get the numbers required, you have at least 3 months to do them so plenty of time, can you e-mail me or let me know if you can help out, I will be asking guys next point score also, you help and input would be greatly appreciated thank you.
