OCTOBER POINTSCORE!
Hi guys,well out October point score we postponed a week really turned out to be a great decision, we had really good waves all day surfing the reef at Easties, a real rarity to surf lefts for a change, all the “goofies” were very pleased with Andrew, Tyse, Lumbo , Andrew Farrow, Mal Robbo all surfing really well on the smooth 2-3ft consistent waves!
Our numbers were down a little as usually happens when a point score is deferred but we took just a few chairs, small table, flags and the paper work etc for tallying so very minimal gear to carry up and back, we will have to use that location more in the right conditions rather than just surfing close outs on low tide at a bank on the beach.
Thank you to all the guys as usual who help out during the day, Andrew for bringing the trailer, Andrew Wilson helping Mal with the heat draw progressions etc, plenty of guys helped tally, Mal, Baz, Lumbo, Locky, Andrew thank you all the guys who made an extra trip be it up or back to take any gear required, or just help someone with an extra board to carry, well done guys.
Also to our catering crew of Mark, Locky and Nathan organised all the food, with Andrew and Mark our barby experts for the day, thank you guys great job as always!
Our November point score is only 2 weeks away, and I will have the STOMP entry’s for any guys who want them for January, so get in early before they go on line. If you get a minute give Brian Bull a call he has had his shoulder operation and all went ok, but he is in a sling for around 6-8 weeks before starting physio so he would appreciate a chat to relieve the boredom I am sure.
