NOVEMBER POINT SCORE!
Hi guys,
Well two points scores in succession with great waves, fairly windy in the old mal heat and some of the open heats in the first round, but mostly slight winds and offshore conditions with plenty of set waves every heat.
Great to see Mark Harris back surfing for the first time in many months, we just have to get Mark to sell all his motor bikes and concentrate on just surfing, seems like a better option to me anyway, Mark will probable disagree I imagine.
Thank you to all the guys helping out during the day and month after month, Andrew Farrow always so reliable with the gear trailer and the extra work associated with looking after it for the club each month, Gary Hobin spends a lot of time keeping the points table for us all year, Dale always takes the shirts home each month washes and gets them ready for us to reuse each month, between the great web site which Dave looks after, and the news letter Andy does for us, we have the luxury of enjoying plenty of communication within the club each month, and our food we enjoy after each point score does not happen without our catering crew of Mark, Nathan and Locky organising that for us, plus numerous guys always willing to help out on the barby.
It’s easy to take this all for granted because it just seems to happen for us without any fuss, and more importantly, without any thanks or recognition expected, but thank you very much for all the guys who contribute so highly within the club.
As always this month, Mal and Andrew Wilson looked after the heat draws and sign on, plenty of guys helped tally during the day, Baz, Nathan, Andrew Farago, Jarrett, Locky, thank to all you guys, Mal Robbo brought his music along for us to enjoy which is always great.
Good luck for any guys going to Palm Beach next week and the Stomp entries will be on Steve Pinningtons web site later this week and I will have some to hand out at the December point score so get in early there are limited spots available, if numbers allow we will be having the teams concept same as last year, but Hendo will make the call on the day whether we run it or not.
Don’t forget if it goes ahead, to bring your fancy dress costumes to surf in, should be interesting to say the least.
