Noosa’s surfing community has suffered a heavy blow with the news thatClassic Malibu Surfboards, Noosa, an absolute cornerstone of the region’s surfing, burned to the ground overnight. For two decades, the distinctive, bright red building was the hub of Peter and Janet White‘s business, almost 10,000 boards being lovingly handshaped by Peter in his shaping bay and glassed and finished onsite.
Classic Malibu has supported and sponsored the Cricks Noosa Festival of Surfing since Day One. The couple are a highly respected, much love part of our town and our thoughts and best wishes go out to both them and their family.
