Well guys,
The decision to move the pointscore forward a week really turned out to be a lucky one indeed, we had nice light south west to south winds mostly, with a little increase in strength just before lunch, and nice 2-3ft waves with mostly 4 man heats, very enjoyable for our last counting point score.
Unfortunately when you move a point score for any reason, it always disadvantages some who have other pre arrangements which clash with the new point score date.
Thank you to all who helped out, Andrew Wilson and Mal Robbo doing the heat draws and plenty of tallying during the day, along with Baz, Lachy, and Youngy.
Mark Pavitt as always organised the food for the barby and cooked also, and was kind enough to bring the gear trailer along this month with Andrew Farrow having his knee replacement operation, we all wish Andrew a speedy and full recovery and hope fully see him back in the water in the new year.
Good to see Nathan back surfing this month at the point score and young Lachy certainly is pushing the top surfers in the club now, and surfing very well, he just needs to finish all his manoeuvres off smoothly, not just the critical ones that he does mostly very well!
