It’s almost December, which means it’s times for the annual Layback Teams Challenge followed by Preso arvo at the Bellambi Surf Club.
Dale and Jarret are currently working on the format for the teams challenge and currently there are plenty of good ideas floating in the breeze. Surf-offs, ABC-grade challenges and of course, The Royal Rumble, which if you remember from a few years ago was 45 mins of dirty tactics, board stealing, kicking, biting and scratching…..
So get down early to sign up. Between rounds we are going to have a few Expression Sessions, so be prepared to blow the dust off a variety of your collectables and bring them along. (70’s Single fins, Twinnies, total dunga’s, whatever you’ve got!) Some of the Expression sessions will be Age based, some will be equipment based and some will be an all out free-for-all!
Fancy dress is on the cards again, so get your wigs, bikinis and make-up ready!
The true success of the day depends on how many we get rolling up. SO SPREAD THE WORD and talk it up! It’s only a week away!!!!!
Preso will follow at the Bellambi Surf Club, kicking off at 2:00pm. Tropheys to hand out to this years winners and grinners and The Band is gonna be rocking!!! Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
